Privacy Policy

For convenience, this is a plain-English summary of how Pisowise handles your data. The full policy below is authoritative.

• Data NOT linked to you: none collected by Pisowise itself. The App Store may provide anonymized download metrics to Apple per the App Store Terms.
• Data linked to you: none, unless you opt in to a future cloud-sync feature. Your transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, debts, bills, and AI prompts stay on your device.
• Data used for tracking: none. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs and do not engage in cross-app tracking. The Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt is not shown because there is nothing to track.
• Apple Intelligence:when you use Piso AI, your prompts are processed by Apple Intelligence on-device or via Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Apple does not retain your requests and does not use them for training.

You may enter the following information into Pisowise:

• Financial records: transactions (income, expenses, transfers), accounts (cash, debit, credit, savings, e-wallets), balances, budgets, savings goals, debts, recurring rules, bills, investment holdings, split-bill arrangements, grocery items, and notes.
• Profile settings: display name, preferred currency (default PHP), reminders, and appearance preferences.
• AI prompts: the natural-language text you send to Piso AI.
• Receipt images: photos you capture or import for the Scan Receipt feature.

All of the above is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly enable an opt-in cloud feature (none are enabled by default at the time of this policy).

Pisowise does not collect, request, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
• Bank account credentials, online banking passwords, or one-time passwords (Pisowise does not connect to banks or e-wallets).
• Card numbers, CVVs, or any other payment-instrument information.
• Government-issued identification or KYC documents.
• Location data, contacts, calendar entries, photos library (other than receipt images you explicitly choose to import), microphone audio, or HealthKit data.
• Device identifiers used for cross-app or cross-website tracking (IDFA).

Information you enter is used solely to:

• Display your financial records, reports, and progress within the app.
• Calculate budgets, goals, debt progress, and net worth.
• Generate notifications and reminders you have explicitly enabled (e.g., upcoming bills, recurring rules).
• Power Piso AI features such as logging, summaries, and budgeting suggestions, processed on-device via Apple Intelligence.
• Support gamification features (streaks, badges, achievements, XP) computed locally from your activity.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the Service to you.

Piso AI uses Apple Intelligence, the on-device generative AI system built into supported Apple devices. When you submit a prompt:

• Most requests are handled entirely on-device. Your prompts and financial context do not leave your iPhone or iPad.
• For requests requiring additional capacity, Apple may route the request to Apple's Private Cloud Compute (PCC). PCC servers run Apple-signed software, do not retain user data after the request is complete, and are independently verifiable. Apple is the data processor for these requests; Pisowise does not see them.
• We do not use your prompts to train AI models. Apple does not use Apple Intelligence requests to train Apple's foundation models.

• Local storage:Pisowise stores your data in the app's sandboxed container using iOS data-protection APIs. The data is encrypted at rest by iOS when your device is locked.
• Backups:if you have iCloud Backup or encrypted-iTunes/Finder backup enabled, Pisowise data may be included in those backups, which are governed by Apple's privacy policy and your device settings.
• Biometric protection: you may optionally require Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode to open the app.
• No server-side database: Pisowise does not operate a backend that stores your personal financial data at the time of this policy. If we ever add an opt-in sync feature, this policy will be updated and your consent will be obtained before any upload.

Pisowise is a self-contained app. We do not embed third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, attribution SDKs, or social login providers. The only third parties involved in the Service are:

• Apple Inc.— operator of the App Store, iCloud, Apple Intelligence, and Private Cloud Compute. Apple's handling of data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Inc. — hosts the marketing website at pisowise.vercel.app. Vercel may collect standard web access logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL) for security and operational purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data. We may disclose information only when:

• You direct us to — for example, exporting your records to a file you choose to share.
• Required by law — in response to a valid legal process from a competent authority, after we have evaluated its validity. Because we do not hold your financial records on our servers, in most cases we have nothing to produce.

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights under the following laws. Because Pisowise stores your data locally, you can exercise most rights directly inside the app without contacting us.

Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173)

• Right to be informed, to access, to object, to erasure, to data portability, to damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

EU/UK GDPR

• Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
• The lawful basis for processing the data you enter is performance of a contract (providing the Service you requested) and your consent for any optional features.

California CCPA / CPRA

• Right to know what personal information is collected, right to delete, right to correct, right to opt-out of sale or sharing, and right to non-discrimination.
• We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

Pisowise is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the Service, please contact us so we can guide you through the deletion of locally-stored data on the device in question.

Because financial data stays on your device, no cross-border transfer of your financial records occurs by default. Apple Intelligence requests may be processed in Apple's Private Cloud Compute infrastructure located outside the Philippines; Apple implements appropriate safeguards as described in its privacy documentation.

• Local data is retained for as long as the app is installed on your device.
• You can delete any record from within the app, reset the app from its Settings screen, or uninstall Pisowise to remove all app-managed data from the device.
• We do not maintain server-side copies of your financial data, so uninstalling the app deletes your records.

Pisowise does not perform tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. We do not link your activity in Pisowise with data collected by other companies' apps and websites. We therefore do not present the ATT prompt.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or release notes before they take effect. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the latest revision.

Pisowise is a personal-finance organization tool. It does not provide investment advice, tax advice, or banking services. You are responsible for the accuracy of records you enter.
